This trailer sums up in 60 seconds why Spider-Man is my favorite fictional character of all time. No matter how low he’s hit, no matter what people say about him, no matter how enormous the odds are stacked against him, he gets back up. He does the right thing. He does the impossible because he knows he must. Spider-Man is the most amazing character of all time, and nobody can top him.

The "Be Yourself" trailer was cool, but I feel the "Be Greater" trailer encapsulates who Spider-Man is at his core in less than two minutes.

I watch this trailer once every couple months because of the powerful message of getting back up after hitting rock bottom and conquering your demons to propel yourself to greater heights. I get tears in my eyes when the man at the end talks about using self doubt as an opportunity to be greater. Easily one of my favorite game trailers of all time.

You know what's even more captivating? The fact that he not only beat his "demons", he actually USED THEM TO PROPEL HIMSELF UPWARDS.Every single one of them. So should all of us :)

i get chills every single time i hear aunt may "peter its time to get up" because it's so empowering especially as a huge spidey fan. it's basically the equivalent of hearing "don't give up" thats why i love spidey so much. what he stands for. never giving up no matter how hard you're hit.

I always come back to this video because of how beautifully they show Spiderman's strength of character. Strongly reminds me of how you can pick yourself up in life and show the world what you're actually worth, regardless of the countless people who've done you wrong.

I love that this trailers means so much to all of us still watching it. We all love Spider-Man because we see ourselves in him and he’s the best part of us. Never giving up and always rising to the occasion. He’s not perfect he’s failed before but he will never ever give up and that’s what we can all learn from him.

Wanna know why I keep coming back to watch this?
Spider-Man is falling, with all his self doubt, only to have his demons push him down even further, and for anyone who's played the games, knows he doesn't grunt like that in game
I feel those grunts with each foe he faces, with each struggle he pushes thru, over and over.
This game helped me realize I need to face my self doubt, and push more and more.
Thank you Insomniac games, and thank you Peter Parker.

The fact that its Aunt Mays voice saying “Peter, its time to get up” hits harder when you’ve beat the game then come back to this trailer😭

Coming back to this and it's as amazing as ever. The light shine on the Spider-Man logo on his chest as Aunt May's voice says "Peter, it's time to get up" is just so powerful as it kind of symbolises Peter remembering everything that he stands for and all the voices beating him down are really not speaking the truth. Never related to Spider-Man more in my life

It’s truly sad that the voices he hears is what he believes everyone thinks of him. Although some people in New York hate spider man and view him as a vigilante or even a villain he always fights to protect everyone. That’s why he’s a true hero.
