The pioneers of the German armed forces demonstrated the construction of a temporary ferry connection at the open day in Havelberg. With additional middle sections, the ferry can be expanded into a continuous floating bridge. (To be continued)

1971 haben wir die Elbe bei Wittenberg innerhalb 11 min überquert. Zeit start von Anfahrt zum ersten Pontonanfahrt bis zur Überfahrt auf dem anderen Ufer der 1. Panzer kampfbereit ausfuhr. Das war vor über 50 Jahren. Ihr müsst noch ein bisschen üben😃

I don't know who and where this exercise being attended to, but as I know this is the job of Madras Engineering group (Pioneers) a wing of Indian Army in India and they are as efficient as shown in this video.
