I hope this video could give you real insight of what's really going on in Fukushima.
Wish my best to everyone there.
All the interviewees were so kind and sweet.
What did you think after hearing these local people's opinion?
If you were local there, how would you feel?

Let me know.

When that man talked about that family losing their daughter and how 7 years later they’re still searching for her and how that reporter cried made me have tears in my eyes. Like wow your family loves you THAT much that they will never stop searching for you.

I was in 6th grade on March 11th, 2011. I was making something for graduation with a knife at an elementary school in Osaka. I felt sick when the earthquake happened. I didn’t know it was an earthquake, but our homeroom teacher thought it was alike the earthquake in Kobe which was happened in 1995 and turned on the TV in the room. It said a big earthquake happened, but at the moment, all of us in the room thought it was just an earthquake we always have had. I went to a dance class after school and came back home at like 7 pm, and when I turned on the TV, it had a small Japanese map on the corner of the screen and it said that people in certain areas had to evacuate. It was my first time to see Tsunami as far as I remembered. Every time I watched the TV, I found more and more people died. And terrible things just kept happening. Me and my friends wanted to do something, so we went to school early from the next morning and stood in the front of the gate of the school and collected the donations. It became 270, 000 yen. It is small, but it made me thank every person and country that donated and supported Japan. I know there are some people hate Japan or Japanese people, but I want you to know that no life deserves death. Again, thanks for supporting and loving Japan♥️

In Fukushima melted reactor cores not stopped injecting radiation into the environment to this day. So the half life of the radioactive particles is an ongoing process, in Chernobyl we count half life from April-May 1986. In Fukushima every day a new start for deadly chemicals. Each week, another nail knocked in the coffin of the Pacific Ocean.

They think the government lying to them but they think everything ok something doesn't add up here.

So hilarious that they all were talking about how safe it is and then they get asked "do you think the government is being transparent" and they're all like HELL NO 😂🤣😂😆LMFAO does no one else see how ironic that is?

I am really impressed and not just for the growth of Hiroko chan as a reporter but for all the information displayed; I didn't even know half of the things that they did such as the ways of cleaning the streets, the temporary houses and food testing. Definitely all my respect to Japan, in my opinión is the best country model to follow.

The plane comparison is a bit daft, radiation is something which builds up over time. In the same way X-ray is safe in moderation, but you can't sustain that radiation for extended periods.

in 2013, I spent half a month living in Soma and Fukushima City studying the disaster and doing service work for the people of Fukushima, and I don’t think I’m ever going to forget it. Everyone there has so much heart and it was really inspiring to see everyone doing their best. I ate their food, drank their water, went fishing and even ate fish caught off the coast, and I’m still here. I don’t have cancer and I’m not dying. This isn’t some nuclear wasteland or place out to poison people. These are people genuinely trying their best to live in a world that abandoned them.
