Kai Langer, BMW i Head of Design, joins the BMWBLOG team to talk about the new BMW i Vision Circular concept. The BMW i Vision Circular is BMW's idea of an electric compact car in 2040, geared toward reducing components and using recycled material.

The car's body is made from a mix of recycled aluminum and steel, while the kidney grille and side window trim are replaced by digital surfaces. The interior features relaxing colors, a 3D-printed steering wheel, and a beautiful crystal interface in place of a traditional center console.

Just as the vehicle itself is designed to be 100 percent recyclable, the i Vision Circular aims to use nearly 100 percent recycled components in its production.

It’s a 2025? i3s I’ll take it. So don’t cease production of the i3s until it’s ready, because the i3s is the worlds only hot-hatch EV, now that the Bolt 🔥 will no longer be produced.

Babys born today will carry 2040 the driver licence already a few years.
And reusable and refurbished / recycled material you have today in the i3 build since a century - and you kill this excellent car now!?
Folks should wait 20 years for another small city car?
BMW must be kidding itself and buyers
And the MIni is NOT in any respect a i3 - not even close even you implement electric drive and the software
