Many people in this world are very fascinated by fast cars. They customize their vehicle day after day so that they can drive at speeds of up to 270 MPH. Unfortunately, This is all fun and games until a police officer stops them and writes a hefty ticket. Plus, roads are so crowded nowadays, when are they actually ever going to get to go that fast? Luckily, we’ve found an alternate solution for you speed demons - boats. Today we’ll be taking at look at the fastest boats, starting from a fastest yacht, go to the jet sky that can reach a speed of 200 kilometers per hours, and finish with the Fastest boat in the world or a fastest thing on water. Here we go.

Overall, drag boats are the fastest boats on the water. Top Fuel Hydros are incredible machines and use the very same 8000 horsepower, supercharged, nitroburning, 500 cubic inch Hemi engines as a Top Fuel Dragster and Funny Car’s do. The “Problem Child” boat, owned by “Fast” Eddie Knox, is the reigning Lucas Oil Drag Boat Series Top Fuel world champion and holds the 15 quickest 1,000-foot elapsed times in history, including the current 3.396, 258.26 mph national records. However, once you get a taste of speed you just can’t stop because they recorded a 3.36 last season and a speed of over 260 mph. If you didn’t understand the name problem child, we hope you do now. Because if this thing was a person, it’d probably give more of a headache than dash from the incredibles.

There is nothing more exciting than seeing and hearing a Top Fuel Hydro boat make a 300 mph pass.

2:00, actually you should experience less seasickness at those higher speeds. What we refer to as "seasickness" can be classified separately from the general term "motion sickness" due to, briefly, the ocean's rolling motion affect on the saccule and ulticle. Therefore, although speed CAN cause "motion" sickness, it would not necessarily from the same effects caused by a rolling ocean.
"Johnny" boy gave up his 76 MPH 136-foot behemoth, circa 2013, but not without a great deal of unhappy rumbling and pressure from fellow Spaniards.

It's good to see that Brad is still racing, I haven't seen a boat move on his property here since the accident. We lost one hell of a man in that wreck and Brad almost lost his life too.

Godspeed Jeff, the Asbell name will be forever engrained into this town and the racing world.

Campbell was recorded at over 300mph on his second run in which he died. Unfortunately it was declared void as he didn’t follow protocol. For the poor technology at his disposal in the 1960’s, he was by far the biggest achiever and risk taker than anyone after him.

At 1.56 "It can reach a top speed of 80 miles per hour. If you get seasick on a regular cruise which only goes about 7 miles per hour, one can only imagine the kind of feelings you would have to endure on this thing." No. You can't imagine that. It's not the speed that makes you wanna trou up all the time. It's the random wave, especially those from behind, that kills your sailor's spirit.

Bill Tomlinson set the record at lake of the ozarks in 2011 or 12 with 224mph in My Way. Than spirit of quatar broke it in 2014 with 244mph. I know the mechanic that works on My Way and with some tuning he said that they could beat that speed. How ever i believe Bill has retired from setting world records. Now he is just enjoying life as he should. He has earned it. All very impressive.

You know, only so fast you can go before your boat starts to actually fly.

The sail rocket record was over 500 metres, not 500 miles. It also set a record over one mile. The beach where it was done is only a bit over a mile long.

Jet skis and boats are completely different. A jet ski is powered by high performance engines that shoot out water at major pressure. Race boats are powered by big block
Chevys and use a propeller to propell them across the waters surface

James Brendell is building a boat to top the speed record. A great guy who builds safety capsules for the drag boat and fuel cars
