This is one of his wildest takes. Seeing a total solar eclipse was such a cool experience. If you're only in the partial eclipse path, I could see his point. That's nowhere near as cool. Seeing it from an airplane in flight would be amazing.

This event IS UNIQUE because it's causing totality in a large swath of the country. Not partial. Total darkness is rare.
