Exorcosit Says Demons Are Like Squirrels

What Father Glenn Sudano is saying is that Satan is Not opposite in terms of equality of power. Satan is not equally as powerful as God. Demons are merely creatures and should not be thought of as God-like. God is infinitely greater than any creature, even the greatest of angels. Angels are far superior in intelligence and power to us, so we should be vigilant and aware of demons' cunning and attempts to make us fall, but they are effectively nothing compared to God, and they cannot do anything God does not permit.

Angels are creatures. Satan is a fallen angel - a great angel originally named Lucifer. And so, while powerful, he is merely a creature. Demons are the angels that fell following Satan, who is their leader (according to tradition, 1/3 of the angels followed him). All demons are likewise just creatures. Every creature is infinitely inferior to the Creator, thus God is infinitely more powerful than Satan and the demons. St. Michael (another creature) even overpowered Satan and cast him out of heaven. It is an error to make Satan into an “evil god” as if he is the “opposite” of God, yet equally powerful. The book of Job shows Satan has no power that God doesn’t allow him to have.

He's exactly correct. "Movie-style" possession is seldom, if ever, what happens. Rather, it's these annoying little "whisperers" hiding in the corners, making suggestions and introducing thoughts. And tricking the owner of the proverbial house into not only allowing them to stay, but making the house ever more comfortable, more suited, for them.

I experienced this and it was very frightening and the reason I was attacked was cause of me wanting to talk with dead and Divine it was cause I remember I was told the key to my oppression was The Holy Bible and it was cause of God's Holy Spirit who backs it 100% Amen! I like the message about getting the Holy Spirit in. I'm scratching my head about Satan because I'm under the impression it literally means "Opposer". And because I've never heard anyone calling him the "opposite of God" but the "opposer of God".

There is a lot of truth here. Satan is not God's opposite. And yes, you must cleanse your life, repent of your sins and allow Christ to take over. This is the only path to eternal life with Him, and also to ensure the demons do not return 7 times worse.
