Viet Nam is awesome!! I first went in 1995 and I've been back several times since. Loads of ancient and modern history, fantastic beaches, wonderful food, friendly and resilient people. Best coffee in Asia.

I visit Vietnam every couple years and yes I can confirm it is very cheap, especially with a USD living.

Almost everyone there has their own type of business because it’s harder to live off a hourly job
