Very rare Australian delivered 1985 Jaguar XJ-SC TWR JaguarSport V12 Manual. First registered to Ron Hodgson, this is one of the handful of examples worldwide to receive the close ratio TWR 5 speed manual gearbox. Other TWR upgrades include: large capacity air intakes and filter elements, special spark plugs and engine management settings, high efficiency stainless steel exhaust with twin tail pipes increasing power to 238 kW, upgraded suspension, body kit which significantly reduces lift and drag , 8” x 16” sppedline alloy wheels and much more. Finished in Sage Green over Rhodium Silver as per the TWR catalogue, the result is a truly purposeful looking car with amazing performance. Being sold with documented ownership history, Mastercare service log, portfolio, owner manuals, large invoce file, magazine articles and spare key. Jaguar World noted in August 2021 that only a ‘tiny handful’ of cars worldwide were fitted with TWR’s five speed gearbox before JaguarSport dropped the manual option in 1988 due to a lack of orders, very few of these were sold new in Australia.
