This theory is too good. So, obviously, Disney isn't going this route.

i guess you could say he had strings and now kang is free

I can definitely see this happening, Kang loves to be in control and making him think he is protecting the timeline is the perfect way to keep him in check.

I can't wait to see Kang on the big screen and yell out "It's Kanging Time!" And Kang all over the place

The Kang statue symbolised the fact Loki was in a different timeline, that's why the TVA didn't know who he was.

It does like like a sacrum sanctorum from that angle …

You'll also notice during his speech he only gets mad twice: when talking about Alioth and when he was egging on Sylvie. Pretty sure he wanted to die so that Renslayer can somehow restore him through the past.

my MCU X-Men fan theory:

keep First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Deadpool 1 & 2, New Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline as there is a massive gap between 1963-1995

with the Dark Phoenix cast appearing in Deadpool 1&2, these films can happen after the events of Dark Phoenix and since Essex Corps is referenced in New Mutants, this could happen in the Dark Phoenix timeline

after these events, Professor X uses Cerebro to convince the world that mutants don't exist and erase any new mutant activities from people's minds whenever one is witnessed. however the only person who knows is Nick Fury, who agrees with Professor X to keep tabs on any new mutant activity. this is also referenced in a deleted scene from Iron Man 1, when Nick mentions X-Men

the X-Men can work in secret between 1992 up until Endgame. when Tony Stark snaps his fingers, the mind stone reverses the effects of Professor X's actions. resulting in the public now remembering who the X-Men are

as for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Hydra's meddling with the mind stone prematurely reversed Professor X's actions, as it was mentioned that the mind stone unlocks dormant abilities already present in the brain

my theory brings the Dark Phoenix X-Men cast into the MCU, thus eliminating the need to recast the entire X-Men team. the actors are young, they've expressed interest in returning and continuing their roles. it's an option for Marvel Studios to do that

I've explained my theory to a lot of people, most of whom say it works. others say it won't work and demand i should forget everything about the Fox X-Men films and be happy with what Disney/Marvel Studios are going to do with the X-Men

I will probably receive a lot of negative feedback about my theory, nothing is set in stone, if Marvel Studios can bring back JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson, why won't they bring back the Dark Phoenix cast?

there are multiple websites that support my theory, along with the Iron Man 1 deleted post credit scene. not only that, something similar happened in the comics (Robert Reynolds/Sentry and Gabriel Summers/Vulcan)

since Days of Future Past rewrote the timeline, X-trilogy/Wolverine trilogy no longer take place as the ending to Dark Phoenix doesn't connect to the original trilogy, leaving it open for possible future sequels. as I mentioned, the Dark Phoenix cast could return and continue

James McAvoy - Professor X
Michael Fassbender - Magneto
Tye Sheridan - Cyclops
Nicholas Hoult - Beast
Alexandra Shipp - Storm
Kodi Smitt-Mcphee - Nightcrawler
Sophie Turner - Jean Grey
Josh Brolin - Cable
Brianna Hildebrand - NTW
Stefan Kapicic - Colossus
Olivia Munn - Psylocke
Peter Dinklage - Bolivar Trask
Oscar Isaac - Apocalypse
Rose Byrne - Moira McTaggart
Anya Taylor-Joy - Magik

as I've mentioned, in my X-Men MCU timeline, Mystique dies and Quicksilver dies after Avengers 2. the other X-Men characters I don't mind recasting, as long as they keep the cast I mention above aswell as try to follow my fan theory

Loki: screws over his universe

Female Loki: screws over the everyone's multiverses

Kang even said, right before Loki killed him, that he would see her soon. That could mean one of two things. Either one, now that he’s gone the timeline for branch again creating an unlimited amount of kangs or 2, he himself will see them again, even though he’s about to die. He’ll be back. I actually think he meant both. Regardless of what the movie theory is, it’s basically what he said during his speech. If an infinite amount of timeline start branching again, creating an infinite amount of Kangs, then this exact version of Kang, with all his memories and experiences, will be created again to. Which actually makes your theory even cooler. Because if he was in a Time Loop prison, and let’s say a part of that Prison was his inability to die, then, if Loki was able to kill him, then that would be his only way to escape his prison. He’s killed, reborn, re-inserted into a new timeline.

I think everyone knew that (the part about him taking over the TVA not the part where he was trapped) but to everyone who didn't, you heard it from him.

All I know, Loki Season 2 is gonna be insane, and I'm hoping that the Kang statue we see at the end of loki will be called "Kang Prime", it just sounds bad ass

It would definitely be a satisfying plot twist that would throw us in the deep end of Kang and how smart & deceptive he is.

At this point, I watched too many theories that I don't know which one I should trust!

Best way to keep someone is to battle him against himself (Kang vs Kang variants)

This theory is 100% correct except one part that cloud thing protecting his cell wasn’t just keeping him in it was designed to keep Loki out. It was always going to be Loki who freed him that’s why the only variants that could survive that place were the Loki variants. So they made a creature that would scare Loki into thinking there is no way to win till a couple of Loki variants collaborate together with one goal. Which is something the original TVA didn’t take into account cause what were the odds of that. I mean Loki only ever looks out for Loki they never even thought one Loki variant was an exception to that character trait.

ok this is a cool theory but the one who remains Literally explains why he's there, also the one who remains and Kang are all just insane, geniuses but insane, that's why he lets Sylvie kill him, he's insane and tired of being alive after however long holding the same job, and in the end he still will win, I'm guessing at least because Loki and Sylvie will take over and become the gods of trickery and time

also he who remains and Kang the conqueror are different, that is a statue of Kang the conqueror not he who remains, it's the same body mostly but it's not the same person.

Na, Loki was in a completely different timeline at the end. Hence the reason that Mobius had no idea who he was.

Your right. He was so dangerous that they just keep him at place where aliath is guard on door no way to go out.
