Intro to SolidCAM Milling

In this video, I simply want to show you how easy it is to program with SolidCAM, simulate tool path and finally generate GCode. This video is intended only for viewing and is essentially just an introduction to SolidCAM using some of our 2.5D Milling technologies.

Thanks for this tutorial. But now i have a question.
Is it possible to generate a toolpath for Pocket whitch the tool is not cutting with full diameter after pluge into the stock?
If i set cuttingspeed to 3000 mm/min the tool in my case a 8mm endmill, flyes around my head after plunge in is finished and the tool makes the first move into the full stock with 3000 mm/min.
How to setup that the tool moves in a helical toolpath from in to out without cutting the hole 8mm tooldiameter?

Thank you! I did not realize that the word CAM is a verb. Therefore, CAD must now also be a verb.
I understand now. When I program part, I will first CAD the part then I will CAM the part.
Then at 12 noon, I will LUNCH my sandwich.

Its possible to mill 3mm holes with 3mm tool? i have mach2 and the gpp files doesnt work well, it gives me error when i try to generate GCODE when use drilling operation :(

Hello, I noticed that the G-code has the M06 tool change before the tool # is called. How hard is it to change the post processor so the line will be posted in the correct order?
