Those were the most complex screen savers at the time to me. I remember changing the wobbly font screens to say “HELP IM TRAPPED IN THE COMPUTER” in the library 📚 😂

Fun fact, this is still a thing with many handheld devices like your phones or the Nintendo Switch, although not really screen burn-in but leaving the screen on for too long will kill pixels leaving streaks of dead pixels on your device.
