I was reading a book for a class and it brought up this fact that Harding was voted only because he was handsome. Even though he sucked at the job. apparently he died in office two years later.

Well, similiar goes for the debate between Kennedy and Nixon. Many people who watched the debate on TV were for Kennedy simply because of his physical looks, when compared with the people who listened to the debate on the radio, who were mostly for Nixon.

Looked up Warren G. Harding after reading these comments and found an article titled "America's Horniest President." Wow.

I find this scene implausible and completely inaccurate. This scene was set in 1920 and Cindy Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" didn't come out till 1983
