Damn government regulations ! If the owner needs to put up a fence tall enough to keep the trespassers out of HER home, she should be able to do it. Getting tired of seeing these transients breaking into residents that they don't own !

I would say she should put up that small gate and also have some guard dogs outside in the gate. Brighten up the house. Put bars on the house windows... maybe get security to watch it.

Wow that sucks for that poor lady. Homeless people are a real problem at my place of work as well. Always shitting and pissing all over the place. Leaving their trash and needles. Cutting the fence to get to the back area and trying to break in the doors. Police put minimal effort into fixing the situation. They're allowed to camp out on the street in tents, on cardboard, in sleeping bags. It's a mess.
