Cost of living 'incredibly tough' on Canberra residents under Labor

ACT Opposition Leader Elizabeth Lee says cost of living has been “incredibly tough” for Canberra citizens ahead of the ACT election.
The ACT is set to go to the polls in October with the Liberal Party hoping to end 23 years of Labor rule in the territory.
“They also see what 23 years of an incumbent Labor government has done for them,” Ms Lee told Sky News host Erin Molan.
“That is that the cost-of-living has been incredibly tough for a lot of Canberrans.
“We know that the housing market is out of reach for a lot of especially young Canberrans.”
