Synopsis: Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen), a rather clueless police detective, tries to foil a plot to turn innocent people into assassins through mind control. After his partner, Norberg (O.J. Simpson), is shot, Frank sets out to find the culprit, leading him to business tycoon Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalban). However, Frank has no evidence until he meets Jane Spencer (Priscilla Presley), Ludwig's assistant. She knows nothing about Ludwig's devious plans, but falls for Frank and agrees to help him.

When Leslie Nielsen turned into a comic actor after years of being a heavy and bad guy I didn't think it would go over very well but he did nicely for the rest of his life as a funny man. Ahh the '80s what times they were.

This movie always reminds me of a hilarious scene from my childhood. I was at the zoo when a colleague in an electric wheelchair accidentally tumbled down the stairs—just like in the film—and ended up stuck against the polar bear glass. Luckily, no one was hurt, so everyone laughed, but it was really dangerous!

It also reminds me of another funny moment at a fair. A severely disabled colleague got on a log flume ride, but he moved so much that the log tipped sideways, and they went down like that! Everyone was in stitches.

Looking back, rehab days felt like a nonstop comedy show. I’m glad I made it through that tough period! I think I’ll watch it tonight after all these memories lol 😅😅

I'm glad Liam Neeson is been given the role for the new Naked Gun movie, both him and Leslie Nielsen even share the same initials, he's perfect for the role and Mr Nielsen would've love this💯
