A sole proprieter is the only person who owns a company and their personal assets are tied to the company (aka if your company gets sued because of a product malfunction they can take your personal property such as cars, house, and any other belongings that can be liquidated to pay for the plaintifs awarded sum and court costs) where as an llc is a limited liability company which allows a separation from personal assets and business assets.

Tina, I opened my small business because you inspired me. I saw you on Instagram and I love your content and what you do. I use Shopify and I used one of their templates when I started. It was easy but I found that taking product pics and deciding on photos was the most difficult for me. I don’t ship to Canada, yet. That is something I’m terrified about. I’m just beginning. I mostly sell to locals and people that I know. I’m going to try loading more to social media and see where it takes me. Thank you for sharing all that you do. Great info. starting a business has its ups and downs. And if you don't have a physical product to sell, you can start off with a digital product where you won't have to worry about shipping and handling. I teach my audience how to do just that.

Thank you for sharing! Even since you got Bruce's shark tag my business has evolved and grown. At the start of April I lost my job again, I was laid off end of Jan and then got hired and then laid off start of April. To say the least it took a toll on me but I just started pouring myself into my business. I really love how involved your parents and family are and find that such a blessing for you. It can feel very lonely when it is just you that believes in yourself. But always appreciate your videos as they make me feel not so alone. 💖 I'm attempting to take my focus to YouTube since short form just feels so fleeting but I need to get better at filming 🤣 Also YES YES YES on thinking about the name and expansion. As an artist, many people use their name as the brand. But I knew that I didn't want it to just be my name for expansion purposes which is why I came up with what it is today. Though admittedly my Youtube is more about me as the artist and not my brand.
