Imagine if, in that final scene of Star Trek: Picard it hadn't been Q appearing to Jack all menancingly, but Wesley saying, "Hey, Brother. We need to talk."

I love seeing actors like Will Wheaton and Hayden Christiansen who’s characters received so much hate are now being showered with love! They deserve it so much!!!

I know Star Trek Prodigy is supposed to be a kids show, but when I saw Wil Wheaton reprising his role as Wesley Crusher I literally jumped out of my chair with excitement. I even cried when Wesley called his mom in the last episode. I also started watching the ready room when Wil became the host, and haven’t missed an episode yet.
My favorite Prodigy episode was where the ship split into different universes, showing that the mirror universe isn’t the only one out there, yet it is the easiest one to access.

Wow, Wil was incredibly eloquent toward the end there. His joy and generosity of spirit are wonderful to watch. P.S. I'm one of the viewers who was THRILLED by his appearance in Prodigy and thought the whole arc was not only long overdue but just briliantly done. It's fun to know that some of it was Wheaton's own fan fiction! Wish he had said more about that.

Wil takes such unabashed joy in fandom. But this isn't a selfish joy. He radiates it out to everybody. He wants to help everybody find that joy and he loves seeing their joy. He is the opposite of all of those cruel petty people we see on the internet.

The way Wil Wheaton portrayed Wesley Crusher is the main reason I love all things Star Trek. Before The Next Generation (TNG) aired, I had watched The Original Series (TOS) and the Star Trek movies that came before TNG. However, I always saw it as a cool show from my dad's time. Then TNG came on TV in 1987 when I was a 12-year-old boy, and I saw this young man on the show who was only 3 years and 1 day older than me. This shifted my mindset from viewing Star Trek as a cool show from my dad's generation to seeing it as something of my own generation. TNG quite literally became The Next Generation of Star Trek that turned all of Star Trek into something I saw as a part of my generation. I hope that Star Trek: Prodigy will have the same impact on today's kids as TNG had on me. I've read some of Wil Wheaton's fanfiction about Wesley Crusher and always hoped it would somehow become part of Star Trek canon. Now, in my mind, it basically has.

I remember watching the cameo in Picard and thinking "we need more Wesley Crusher." Which quite honestly is something I probably wouldn't have said during the original run of TNG. But I am glad they finally did justice to this character. And give Wil the validation he deserves.

"What would David Tennant do?" Excellent guiding question to live by. Glad to see Wil so happy with his experience with Prodigy and the greater Trek family. Congratulations.

I was legitimately one of those kids who placed myself in Wesley's position on the Enterprise D as a watched with my parents.

This entire interview made me so emotional. I was one of those kids that grew up watching Next Gen with my mom. Wesley was a favorite. Wil getting his love now makes me so happy. I honestly gasped and cried so hard when he came back the way he did in Picard, but in Prodigy, I was full on bawling. He did bring a lot of sci fi lore into his role and he did it amazingly. Actors that got so much hate back in the day are getting the love they deserve. Thank you Wil.

I freaked out when i saw crusher in season 2 prodigy, its even better that crusher stayed along for the season and a key to the rest of the season. Its even better how they ended the episode and finally letting dr crusher with her son and Jack reference was just the cherry on top.

A Travelers and Doctor Who crossover would be epic! I'm so glad Wesley is getting the love and adoration he truly deserves. I never understood all the hate directed towards him; he was just a kid.

I loved seeing a smart nerdy kid my age when TNG first aired. Wes being there on the bridge was hugely validating for all of us fellow nerdy kids in the eighties. I'm so happy Wil knows now how much his character meant to so many.

Outstanding ! I truly love what you did on prodigy. And the reference to the 10th Doctor is the icing on the cake since David Tennant is my favourite one. I wasn't prepared to the surprise of Wesley not only appearing but being a key character. I'm so happy for you, Wil; great job !

Wil Wheaton is such a wondrous human. To have been so exploited, abused, taken advantage of, and discarded by the entertainment industry as well as in his family life, and still have such joy, warmth, and vulnerability is so inspiring & uplifting. What a privilege it must have been to talk to him, and I couldn’t imagine anyone better to have this talk with him than Sean. Love this.

I loved seeing Wesley Crusher during this season, not just a cameo, but part of the full story arc. Seeing him as an adult, busy out there saving the universe as a traveler. It was wonderful. The final scene when he came home to visit his Mom and realized he had a younger brother was priceless. While I realize Prodigy was designed for kids, the story is solid and interesting. We need another couple of seasons of Prodigy...and more of Wesley Crusher. :) Kudos to Wil Wheaton!
