My favorite part is how Monkey's more concerned about looting some magic items than rescuing the party, and then his hard-cheated loot turned out to be quest items.

Rewatching this I realize that this is the world's first DnD party.
Tripitaka: The roleplayer who actually pays attention to the story
Sun Wukong: The minmaxing rules-lawyering munchkin
Pigsy: The guy who tries to bang all the NPCs
Sandy: The ineffectual loose cannon who doesn't quite "get" the campaign
The Horse: The guy who's always on his phone and never plays attention

Also Pigsy: totally fell for Monkey shape-shifting into his wife

Honestly I respect the older demon brother. He clearly knows when he’s outmatched, he cares about his brother and mourns him when he dies, and responding to monkey’s call just shows that he cares about his army, which is unusual for a big bad. 10/10 gotta be one of the most honourable villains.

For those who haven't read the book, at 8:15, Monkey is afraid of his duplicates being burned because the duplicates are just his hairs with a bunch of magic on them. So if they get destroyed by fire, the hair is gone. He has a lot of hair, but he still doesn't want to lose any.
