i think this is so key, i allways sing all songs like their my own doesnt matter if their originals or covers or even songs im not very fond of, i just love singing it really doesnt matter what im singing, i make it mine as much as i can and try to have fun

There's always a different way of singing something, I think of Aretha Franklin cover of God Bless The Child by Billie Holiday. Totally reconfigured and different from the original. I love how good singers look at every line, passage and lyric and draw meaning from every word and emotion. Singers are actors who make sound ❤️
