This is the main theme. It plays during character generation, as well as a few other places.

Composed by Mark Griskey.

KOTOR theme: Heroes on a mission against all odds.

KOTOR 2 theme: Mystery, philosophy and opinion of belief of the force.

Both games are masterpieces in their own way. I love how KotOR2 is a really deep decondtruction of the Jedi and the Force. And it has the superior soundtrack without a doubt.

Obsidian always got really unlucky with deadlines. This game, alpha protocol, and new vegas all had rushed dev times, but they were so talented and made them work despite that. that's why they have such a big cult fanbase.

Was not expecting this when I opened the game first time, I was expecting Jeremy Soule's theme from KOTOR 1 instead you get this dark and sombre theme, the start of the game was very creepy too, alone with T3 with no Revan, just a mysterious old woman and your player character in the sickbay, Peragus was even worse especially yhe sequence in the dormitories and find out all the miners died, unlike with the first game your companions this time are not immediately likeable, Atton is a convict with a shady past and Kreia is a manipulative old witch. This game was amazing, the characters the story, it is the Anti-Star Wars story, deconstruction done well, Kreia is now one of my favourite Star Wars characters, If only I could wipe all memory of this game and do it all over again.

This is one of the most beautiful songs in Star Wars

I love how this theme isn't heroic like kotor 1's or evil like swtor's, its just mysterious and ominous, almost hinting to the player that not only do we not know which path revan took, nor do we know what that could entail

SPOILER ALERT

I feel that from 2:08 until the end, where there are distinctively three parts (three pauses by the orchestra, represent the Sith triumvirate in this game. The first part is Sion, because the notes seem to show concern and some sadness, but it up front and apparent. The second part is Nihilus, because it starts a little more elusively and then transcends to something just slightly more dark and eerie. But the third part is Traya, because it Starts out slightly nobly, but finishes very sinister, as if trying to deceive you. Just my thoughts!

Its funny, this is such an eerie and mysterious track, but there are still flashes of the classic star wars sound. The hope and optimism. Its almost a reflection of the game itself. Make a decision. Extinguish the jedi or give them new life.

Exquisitely brooding and pensive in its subject matter, yet undeniably Star Wars all the same. One of my all time favourite games, in addition to being a wonderful addition to the Star Wars mythology.

Kotor 1 and Kotor 2 are freaking Masterpieces. Every gamer deserves to play them atleast once in their lives.

Kotor 2 certainly is the best RPG I have ever played, my first play through was like an out of body experience. Such a splendid game!

"There are Dark Places in the galaxy where few tread. Ancient centers of learning, of knowledge. But I did not walk alone. To be united by hatred is a fragile alliance at best. My will was not law, there were disagreements, ambition, and hunger for power. There are techniques within the Force against which there is no defense. I was cast down, stripped of my power... exiled. I suffered... indignities. And fell into darkness."

2:25 This part is so powerful and intense, it almost sounds like a piece of music written by Prokofiev.

The most beautiful unfinished game ever created. Literally a masterpiece.

I love this theme so much. It gives off an air of mystery, perfect for the game you're about to play.

For Kotor 1 ost you knew what you were getting and the 2nd game was a much darker experience unlike most star wars media. Not to discredit Soule but I think Griskey's ost was much better.
