This is the most deep video about this instrument in the entire internet!!! Thank you so much! Um abraço do Brasil!

Hi Chuck
One of the reasons I bought the Liano, I had slipped on ice the week prior and fractured my right ankle.
It was proving difficult to press the sustain pedal especially with a plaster on.
The funny thing was my son said, “why don’t you try the other foot”.
Having been playing keyboards / preferring piano actions for 40+ years, I wouldn’t have even thought about it.
It wasn’t a problem adapted straight away.
Currently trying to source a soft vinyl case for the Liano, no handle just maybe a sleeve, to utilise the small dimensions.
So I can simply tuck it under my arm and put in the car / caravan, I think you call it a trailer in America.
Graham 😊

I just ordered this keyboard to learn how to play. This review confirms that I made the right decision. Thanks!

Thank you for such an informative video. Playing for senior citizens and wanted to brighten up the room, just couldn't resist getting a red one.

I think if Korg can make it "flip open" or make it into 2 parts (left and right) and "can be connected" in the middle, then you got something that can fit into a large backpack and carry anywhere

Thank you very much for the comprehensive review. I've been playing piano since 1968 and am looking for a digital piano. This looks great! In another review I heard that this digital piano is very quiet too. Very important to me. I like the way you present this - no repetitions - no going to sleep passages. Best review on YouTube! Great work!

Thank you, Chuck, for the review. I got myself one and I'm delighted with it!

The "being able to play 'into' the key" aspect of this action is really overlooked value for many professional piano/keyboard giggers.

Especially nowadays with all those unbalanced weight/feel pianos/keyboards where the shortness of the keys causes the black keys become

Brand new viewer to your channel. Great job describing this piano, and I just bought one this morning (in metallic blue). After listening to multiple videos & keyboards, I had some very specific wants to fill. 1st and foremost, it had to be lightweight, and this one covers that in spades. Although my home workstation is a high end Yamaha workstation to do a few gigs it had to be light (not getting any younger 😅😅) it also had to have a great EP piano and a decent sounding grand style piano and this one covers both of those as you just demonstrated. Decent sounding strings are nice but I think the extra power in the Liano is the usb midi/audio in/out, that will come in very handy for my solo show.
Thanks for your information and your giddy kind of enthusiasm. You have a new sub

13:06 that's really good because such as on my Casio CT-S1, when I play Moonlight Sonata 1st Movement, the black keys and the white keys near the felt area are close to impossible to press down. I have to consciously move my fingers about 0.5 to 1 inch down in order I am able to press on the keys. Nobody would have told me that before I buy the piano. I also wanted to find out if Roland Go 88 is the same as Liano and will put an update here when I find out

Thanks for the review of the Korg liano. I, m from the uk, my current keyboard is the yamaha modx 88. sold my Korg Kronos because of the weight, purchased the Liano yesterday, extremely happy with it. works very nice with the Korg module. I like the fact it’s the same weight, as you said moving / playing near the back of each key.
Might get a nautilus 88 in the future, I miss the RH3 key action, but due to the weight, I wouldn’t think of travelling with it.
Thanks again
Graham

Uhh, just bought this thanks to your review even though I just bought a different board. This fits the bills due to weight and the simple bread and butter sounds couldn’t resist. Keep up the awesome reviews!

Watched your video last week and got my liano today ! so nice ! i like the simplicity and the sound is great . 1\4 outputs would be nice . would not be hard to put some in though . nice to have one that dont have a thousand buttons and when i turn it off i can turn it back on and still be in the same place . i guess it seems alot like analog rather than digital . love it ! thanks .

Loving your review. Thank you. Just bought a blue one. Should have this week. Noticed the demo of strings sounded like layered piano and strings, which I thought wasn’t possible. Finally sold my 20 year old 37 pound Yamaha P90 and my 38 year old Traynor Block 100 Amp. Edit: just read your reply on demos that can replicate a layered midi playing through the keyboard. I’m in Toronto and had to order it from a shop in Montreal. Maybe it’s not in stock at the big music stores because it could take away sales of more expensive keyboards, or it’s too popular! :)

Hi Chuck, would you happen to know if this is the same LS action that was in the Kronos LS ? Is this better for piano than the Numa Compact 2x which also has a semi-weighted action ?

I put 36 piano weights in an Excel sheet, and Liano is the lightest 88 key piano, at 13 lbs 3.6 oz. The second lightest is the Roland Go 88, which is 15 lbs 7 oz (essentially, Liano is exactly 6 kg and Roland Go 88 is exactly 7 kg)

Thank you for this review! I been scouring the webs for anyone with literally any hands on experience with this piano and you are the only one to have reviewed it and I suspect your expectations would match my own. I have never gotten to play any Korg keyboards so I have no point of reference for the action but it sounds like its a step up from the likes of the Casio CT-S1 at least...
