Emphasis on not to get frustrated if the parking manoeuvre doesn’t go well first time! On my test, I had my reverse bay parking manoeuvre at the very beginning (in the tiniest carpark and I hadn’t practiced in this particular carpark before!) I messed it up the first time, but calmed down and got it in the second go (didn’t even need to make any adjustments) - the key is not to panic!

Another way to approach this problem is that you have not yet joined the moving traffic at all. Drivers who are already in the moving traffic will therefore drive around you as though you are parked. Nobody in their right mind will force you to pull away unless they also want to park in your space, so there is no need to rush.

i sit my second driving test next Tuesday failed my first for not checking my blind spots before pulling away from an emergency stop had my last driving lesson today it wasn't as good as previous lessons and its kind of giving me doubts about my second test Tuesday and if i am actually ready i know each day is different when your on the road driving but it has knocked my confidence

Why is it that when waiting patiently for a safe gap at junctions and roundabouts, you get marked down for hesitation even when you don't cause any danger??.
