2JZGTE vs. 2JZGE | JDM Supras Battle

With RHD Supras making its way to the US, a lot of people are considering getting a 2JZGE Supra due to its pricing. I decided to do a comparison with my buddy's 2JZGE Supra to my 2JZGTE Supra. Is it worth it? You tell me.

The 2jzge motor with turbo @5psi and the best thing is that it has a distributor you can run a stand alone can create close to 485hp at wheel al day long for as long as you want, the air flow is much better on the GE motor, requires less boost to make big hp, and all you need is a good fuel pressure regulator, walbro 255 fuel pump and a t70 turbo set up all under 1, 100

You forgot one of the biggest differences. Brakes. The turbo cars came with larger rotors/pads and were 4 piston front 2 piston rear calipers. NA cars were 2 piston front, 1 piston rear. If your buddy is going to upgrade and do the NA-T conversion, do it right and get better brakes so he can stop.

I have a 1jz twin turbo want to know if big intercooler no cat 3-3.5 inch exhaust r154 and over size radiator with electric fan is faster than american na. I guess there still is the 5 speed vs 6 speed factor

the licenceplate cover on Henry's covers a hole in the bumper, US&EU Spec supra's didn't have that like yours. My Jspec is also fitted with a EU one:P

Is there any real sound difference between the motors assuming they both have a single turbo? And which one would be better for spool again if the compression ratios were the same and you were going solely on head. Would that make it spool slower with bigger exhaust ports or no?
