One of the Skarsgard brothers as Lex? I would have never thought of either of them for that role, but now that I've heard it and thought on it a bit, I'm intrigued. I was kinda hoping someone like Ryan Gosling because of his name, skill and screen presence.

When I first saw David Corenswet in Netflix's "The Politician", I immediately thought to myself "If they reboot Superman in the next 5-10 years, this guy would be great for the role". He is really able to pull off the kind of genuinely kind and gentle soul character that Superman needs to balance out his godlike strength.

Lmao and the hate begins, I remember when EVERYONE hated Henry Cavill casted as Superman many people were complaining because he was British and he was a nobody, that he didn’t look the part. It’s the same thing with David, in a few years when you see him in the costume everyone will be saying much different things.

David Corenswet is a great actor, especially coming from Juilliard. That is not easy to do and should give people confidence on his acting ability. So many strong Alumni come from there... Including Christopher Reeve 👀
