At least in the US, the price of a standard model 3 performance is right around $56k. The first audi you drove is around $93k, and the RS etron GT starts at $167k with no options.... You're comparing three cars in completely different categories cost wise. I would hope a car over 3x the price would perform better...

Thanks for the informative review. However, regarding the trim quality and handling of the Model 3, I find it unfair to compare it to a BMW, Audi, or Mercedes. There is a significant price difference between the Model 3 and any electric car from those German brands. Especially the RS5 you mentioned, which costs more than twice as much as the Model 3 Performance and is a completely different type of car.

I test drive a Model 3. FSD was awesome. Got me to the destination without touching the steering wheel. Not perfect but 95% there.

Listing FSD as a negative and saying it doesn’t work like it should is an awful take. Have you used version 13? It’s mind blowing how well it works

Wipers and lack of stalks genuinely ruining the car for me. Also the lack or radar so whenever the cameras get dirty all lane and parking awareness is degraded. Tried to push out old tech too much when the old ways were actually better.

FSD is really advanced already the one you have is just normal autopilot not full service driving which is available in the us not in Australia

Great video! I've also got the new M3P. The new update with predictive gear change (not just out of park) is quite good from initial testing. I also use a novated lease which I understand is cheaper than paying cash, the leasing company also does fleet insurance which brings the premium down to $180 per month (pre tax). Otherwise yes these can be quite expensive to insure.

It seems your using Autopilot, not full self driving. The difference is one is made to drive and one is made to keep you in the lane. Don’t mistake the two, it puts a bad look on Tesla’s claims of FSD which are true, used it myself.

If youre gonna talk about the cons if you live in an apt, you gotta talk about the pros when living in a house, specially if youre gonna mention wifi updates (which more and more brands are implementing). Tesla also has improved track mode preventing brake fade

Go to settings and set up the brake peddle to put you in reverse and to go forward

I’m actually quite impressed with Tesla’s FSD. I took delivery of a 2024 Y Performance and FSD v13 took me from Las Vegas to SLC with no issues and minimal interaction. I only took over to pull into superchargers but even then, auto park successfully backed me into a stall in Saint George. It’s come a long way from my first Tesla, a 2015 P90DL.
