Oh boy, I love that Gerald Mohr plays Sam Spade, as he does in Philip Marlowe! His voice is so distinctive, and I love hearing it in both of these programs! Thank You so much for bringing them to us, they're wonderful!!

Good background, good show too, I liked the rain with the show last week, rain was a little louder than show, but it was a good idea. I think you should do it again. Practice makes perfect they say.. The Tears of Night Caper was story done by Pay Novak for hire under a different title, and it was an episode of Johnny Dollar, with Bob Bailey, under the same title .... They all had one thing in common.... William Conrad played the same role, as the gambling house They did rehash storylines from different shows....

This is a good show but as ridiculous as this might sound I think “Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar” is better. But it could be more about Bob Bailey and this being the only thing he did (basically) and Gerald Mohr and his voice being in every show including Johnny Dollar for one episode right before Bob Bailey. Just my opinion I hope no one is offended. It’s still an excellent show and I still will listen.

I played it at .75 and it sounded like the LP reproductions I listened to in the 80s. Should come with a note to play at that speed.

I thought the cat had caught creepy eye, but I found the eye on the ground, but now something has got the cat. I thought it was a Martian, but realised I’m listening to Sam Spade. Must be the creepy guy at the door, he took the cat. Maybe the cat chased the guy at the door away. Maybe the cat was never here and the cat is just liking Martians and sci fi. Love the stream Dino.
