they don’t care that this isn’t what players want. they’ve already said they’re willing to lose the older gens who know the missed potential from earlier games, and said they’re looking to introduce a new generation to the sims. in short meaning they’re preying on children who are too naive, and will blindly beg their parents to buy the next battlepass.

The thing I hate about battle pass is that it's time limited. So if you're broke when it comes out, you completely miss it. We're in the middle of a recession right now, so not everyone can afford to drop cash at the drop of a hat

If they think brand loyalty is unconditional they will be in for a nasty surprise 😂 i've played the Sims 1 and all the editions after since launch. I quit the Sims after Growing Together, and might only return for Sims 3 and 2, which I repurchased on Steam so I won't ever have to deal with EA crap again.

Literally one of the charms of the sims was its ability to be so much fun, despite being single player. Trying to make it into some Frankenstein multiplayer completely destroys that unique charm that you can't find in any other game.

I remember seeing someone say this is basically EA's IMVU/ SecondLife. Definitely starting to sound like it. Simbucks, in-game mod section (that will probably run on simbucks), hub place to meet a bunch of people in one place... yeah.

as someone who grew up with the sims and viewed it as a definite comfort game, its been extremely disappointing to see just how much the series has been run into the ground and now with this, i wont be trying it as it doesnt have a heart like sims 2 or 3 did. its just a cold money making machine (which i get okay you gotta make money) but a battlepass in the sims??? in game currency??? and dont even get me started on what the sims look like so far. dunno dunno just dont want to play a game that wouldnt feel like sims.
