Like it or not...many of these pedagogical insights to organizational culture take root from the US and British military pains of the 80s and 90s. Pouring loads of money into companies like McKinsey with the goal of researching, strategizing, and implementing, organizational dynamics and dismantling top-down leadership. The post Vietnam organizational chaos and massive drawdown in manpower would also lead to a lack of good leadership. The 90s really led to the start of agile thinking that would subsequently take hold in the business world.

I enjoy your videos. I've been through the whole ISO cert thing. Loved it. Documenting the org and processes makes thing much easier in the long run. Before ISO cert. there is a backlog of documentation. It was all worth it. This has unexpected benefits too. It forces a complete thought train on all things. It really help to clarify everything.
