How to use Crashplan to backup your stuff off-site for free.

Backing up to a friend's computer gives you the ability to backup to an offsite location, meaning if disaster strikes in your house, let's say fire, flood or even theft your files will be safe because they are offsite, good video btw, just started using CrashPlan today and I think it's actually better than Mozy and Carbonite which I have also used in the past.

I've been using this for 5 months. I had a 500GB backup, but yesterday I defragmented the hard drive and now Crashplan thinks that my files have changed and started the backup all over again, now do the math of how much time it will take to do that on a 1 Mbps upload speed. That is 50 days, so for that time my computer won't fully be backed up.

All prices is higher now from this video, Now: 2 and 4 and 9 instead of 1, 5 and 3 and 6
So its getting more expensive to use this backup solution.
