Nice comparo, JT. The eRevo looks like it's the better value. It used to be that $580 for that kind of truck was too much, but with Arrma at $550, it's basically the same, and the Maxx is just way too expensive. Should have been no more than $450.

JayTee, nice vid! Thanks for the comparison. Just wanted to mention. You said you didn't like the smaller battery compartment because you can only run 5000mah. I run two 3S 7200mah 75C bats from SMC Batteries and they run for almost an hour with insane power bro. Perfect fit. Even says right on the website, will fit the E Revo. Check em out dude! At $68 per bat you can not find a better lipo, and they ship right from Spokane, WA. Best lipo's I've ever used. I've ran the MaxAmps, and to be honest, I would never buy another one. WAAAY overpriced and constantly having issues. Never had one problem with SMC. Better bats and WAY better priced!

I'm going to say something here the e revo 2.0 gear up and with some mods is a beast and probably get more mods than any other rc i seen. broken parts is just part of the hobby all cars have their problem

That maxx is the best you gonna like that maxx and you can covert it to 6s they let me drive a demo at the RC hobby shop they converted to 6s and your maxx will go 85mph out of the box.

I have both of these trucks and both are great for what they are. I’ve got some 6mm wheel offsets for 17mm E-Maxx wheels that I have on order. They will definitely make the truck wider. Whether or not it makes that big a difference remains to be seen. I will post a vid on my channel as soon as they come in. Great vid as usual JT and just keep on keepin on RC’n🤪

Great video. I have the e revo 2.0 and I’d say don’t buy it for jumping I have done small jumps like this and snapped 10 tie rod ends and sometimes even on flat landings with no crash. It’s not durable at all :( so I’m getting a max. Fuck tie rods. It’s a beast on the speed and fun driving it though. Just not tough enough for a hard bash!!! At all! Disappointed in the e revo.

I went to pick up a Maxx from the lhs and was disappointed. I'm not sure if it's because I've owned so many xmaxxes or what. So I brought home a new Arrma Mojave instead lol.

I run two 5200 lectron pro 3s battery's in my erevo and they do fit just fine!

Don’t self right it too much. If you self right too much the differential will strip out. Don’t self right it too much unless you have too. But hey that maxx is the winner. I drove the demo and same color. The throttle on the maxx is not too sensitive. But the Erevo 2.0. The throttle is way too sensitive
