Great Video!!! I have both, and enjoy both, but the E-Revo just speaks more to my soul and is so powerful, fast, and so agile.

The maxx v2 just seems to be a good size and simpler design. The e revo looks awesome but requires more knowledge on its design quirks. The V2 looks like a plug and play.

This is exactly the comparative review I was looking for. If i get one will be the maxx v2 because dont want to do more repairs. Thanks

Good job, your inside audio was kinda shaky but still understandable. I think the other thing you left out was the maintenance factor. The MAXX 2.0 is far less complicated than the E-Revo, there are so many parts inside. It's still a great Truggie but easy of work goes to the MAXX 2.0.

Great comparison! The E Revo 2.0 remains my favorite as it can handle the Hobbywing max6 combo. It's crazy, but I love it! Mutual subscription

Steel driveshafts are a disadvantage IMO. I snap the ends of the dog bone constantly. Switched to plastic and never had a problem since.

both are amazing rc's, if I had to choose between the two to bash... I would have to go with the Maxx V2, just because of the durability. I can jump it and not be afraid of the landing. With the erevo yes you can jump it but you have to be more skilled to land it correctly or it will definitely break due to it's weight and low ground clearance as you said. but running the erevo and seeing it sit is just thrilling. Great comparison and very informative.

So I randomly walk in a shop yesterday and someone hadn’t picked their maxx up…. Guess who got it? 🙇🏾 couldn’t pass it up! Congrats I’m now a thousand dollars less rich because of you lol (truck plus two 6700mah and charger combo)

Tough to decide between both. If I had to keep one I'd take the E-REVO for the sheer power and speed element.

Nice ramp! But yeah it'll probably break under the x-maxx, even with the Maxx at higher speeds it might crack. Similar thing happened to me and I actually reinforced it, layered the ramp with one extra sheet of plywood, but between the two layers of plywood I actually put a layer of drywall tape with wood glue then screwed the plywood down countersinking the screws. I also reinforced the base in a few places and finally gave it several coats of oil based paint all over. It's bullet proof now! Heavy, but very sturdy.

Great review mate, i find that the erevo is more of a 8th scale truggy with great handling and jumping characteristics but seems to be more at home on a track or tarmac environment where as the maxx is a great all round basher, skate parks, back yards, dirt lots, etc, can't really go wrong with either one, all depends on your driving style

I just purchased the e-revo and it is a lot bigger than I expected for a 1/10th scale. If I knew how big it was, I wouldnt have bought it. It is awesome though but needs a big area to really run it properly. Great video.
