Factory cats on the LS1 F-Body cars make the exhaust extremely quiet compared to more modern cats. Even with factory manifolds, if you go catless on the factory y-pipe it will be extremely loud with just about anything beyond factory mufflers behind it, and even then it sounds pretty good.

Both sound pretty great tbh, idk if it was the camera but I felt that the straight pipe sounded quieter at idle then the outlaw but at higher rpm just sings. I think I’m gonna go outlaw on the third gen ls swap.

Only the F-body cars can make mostly single exhaust V8 sound good

The red Camaro should have took off or ran hi flo cats and it would have made it louder. Could have also done long tube headers. Corsa is one of the best exhausts out there. Sounds like a truck with a giant exhaust leak with that outlaw muffler.

Whoever did the y-pipe on the Gray Z-28 needs to be retrained on how to properly install one. It is mounted wrong! 👀

Personally I went with a Thrust glass pack right after the y-pipe and a downturn immediately after. Just LOVE the LT1.

Straight piped means the catalytic converters are removed.

I will go with flowmaster outlaw because it's louder and rumply than straight pipe on the camaro z28 to be honest

I love the sound of these weather single exhaust or true dual exhaust but if it's a V8 it's got to have true duals or x pipe or h pipe
