I am 100% sure the color option for the interior is ‘pimp red’

It is a pity, that nowadays there is no cars like that: with cool design, great sound and gorgeous characteristics...

Man, I love those old V8 cars; a whiff of gas will always make me remember the good old days, and that V8 rumble. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

Not a Camaro fanboy but damn does that engine growl sound so beautiful. A true classic and definite muscle car.

Dealer: How much red do you want on the car?

Customer: Yes

This interior is as example of how today's cars should be done, beautiful colors and materials, I love those power window buttons in the control panel between the seats too !
I have a 2002 SLP SS and its power and handling is still way above average but the interior is just the weakest point of those cars, black and no character to it and prone or all kinds of sun damage :(

he's brave blasting one of those around country lanes in the wet. Mine used to be very twitchy in the wet.

Look how clean that is, and the alignment is perfect!

It's so uncomfortable to watch you driving on the wrong side of a road.

I graduated High School, Buffalo, N.Y. 1986. At this time a car like that would have been a dime a dozen, yet, I still love them, and you have a great example of the 79' Camaro in it's prime.

I know a guy who had an 80 Camaro. Dude took years to get it all fixed up. It was his baby. Cammed 350, 5-speed, chromed everything that could be chromed, nice paint, Immaculate interior, the works! It was really nice and scary powerful. This car was gorgeous! Car-show material! Ran like a champ and sounded soo good. A 2nd Gen Camaro-lovers wet dream..

But... * loud sigh * He gave it to his son who mercilessly beat the hell out of it. Chopped up the dash to put in a DVD stereo, sawed holes in the interior to install more speakers and sub-woofers, for his (c)rap "music". He plastered it with cheap, stick-on stripes, and "No Fear!" stickers etc, with skulls and shit like that. He chopped a hole in the roof to put in some cheap leaky sunroof he got out of a truck in a junkyard. The kid just ruined the car. Whooped it on gravel roads, sliding and doing donuts. Less than 6 months after this kid got the car, it had dents and scrapes, the interior was trashed and filthy. Stained with spilled Mountain Dew. It stunk of mildew from the leaky sunroof, and of moldy french-fries and half-eaten burgers tossed into the floor, and of the well used, meth-head/crack-whore chicks he banged. The engine smoked and knocked. This kid pissed me off so bad that I stopped going anywhere near him. 12 years of work, love, blood, tears and time, to get that Camaro to be the beauty it was, and some punk destroys it in 2 years. Freaking... Tragic!

Last time I saw the car it was beaten to hell, stripped out, had a mis-matched drivers door, and sitting in the mud at a junk-yard 2 years after he got it. Lesson to be learned: Don't give your douchebag, male-slut, punk kid a nice car, when the the only thing he ever cared about was a tv game system.

Dude, if by some strange chance you're reading this, (you know who you are) I shoulda' slapped the dog piss outa' you, and your dad should have stuck his foot down your throat. At least you are no longer desecrating a classic, and now you drive a car that you honestly deserve to drive... A rusted out and battered, heap of a Dodge Neon with the "Trash Dumpster" interior. It's basically Adam Sandlers' "P.O.S. Car" with the clear plastic duct-taped over the busted side window. .. You moron.
