Thrifted Quilting, Embroidery and Cross Stitch Supplies

My husband and I love to go thrifting together. We hit up garage sales, estate sales, thrift stores and antique stores. We both love the thrill of hunting for a good bargain and saving anything of historical value.

Today I share cross stitch kits and supplies, embroidery iron ons, quilting books, fabric, vintage and modern finds. Oh and I am thinking of trying my hand at refashioning some thrifted clothes.

How fun to see the premiere issue of Cross Quick. I still have my stitched piece shown on the cover. There were so many great cross stitch magazines in the 80s/90s. I subscribed to them all.

Love this video! You found some wonderful treasures. I LOVE vintage stitching, those kits are so gorgeous. I've had my eye on some of those mar beck angels in the past... I really like the historical ones too. So pretty.
I also find myself needing to "rescue" any vintage I find out there.

I am obsessed with the Mar Bek angels after seeing Reds Stitches videos! I went to ebay immediately and purchased 4. Just the charts though. I didn't get a kit. The red head is my favorite too!
