That was probably my favorite gear video I seen for a long time! Great gear selection and good review on this pack.

good job!!! keep mentioning in your videos the weather of your location, and mention alternatives for other types of weather. Great set up, the only thing is the bag pack, for short trips is good, but something longer there are better options in the market. Overall awesome job!!!

New to the channel!
I like how well you explain things so that even a non-hiker like myself can understand. General knowledge and gear load out are my biggest interests.

Because you have the microfiber towel and your extra backpack in orange they also can be used for signaling in a emergency.

Great video like the hiking backpack, I got myself a similar setup I have the mystery ranch coulee 25 liter hikers back pack it carry two water bottles in either side pouches and a built in section for a water bladder. I’ve had it for two years and it’s still going strong…

Nicely organized pack. I have been looking for a light weight backpack. I love my Savotta jaakari but it alone weighs almost 6 pounds. Thanks for sharing 👍

Yeah, a water filter contingent is the way to go right now especially with certain areas experiencing severe droughts which may force you to draw from some mirky sources. I never had luck with the squeeze styles, the slightest bit of sediment will clog it in an instant and time is as valuable as weight out there so I don't want to be spending 30 minutes squeezing for my dear life just to produce 2 liters of water.
We got the Guardian, more efficient more thorough filtration. There's videos of it being used in that filthy river in India and people being just fine drinking it. I don't mess around with water, it isn't lightning strikes or animal attacks you should fear out there, its dehydration which is the number one killer out there in the back country.

I really like your loadout. Where I live I need to have a summer sleeping bag, but I think the rest is spot on.

Great video! Quick recommendation though, maybe a mil bank bag to filter out the turbidity or even a cotton bandanna to filter out the dirt and sediment. Maybe add a Grayl cup to the setup as well.
