How to Set Revision History Options for the Current VI in LabVIEW

The Revision History page of the VI Properties dialog box and the Revision History page of the Options dialog box contain similar options. Use the VI Properties dialog box to set options for the current VI. Use the Revision History page of the Options dialog box to set options for all new VIs.

In this video, we will learn how we can revise the information that appears in the History window for the current VI. We will learn how to select VI Properties option to display the VI Properties dialog box; how to select Revision History from the Category pull-down menu; how to disable the Use the default history settings from the Options dialog box check box to override the options on the Revision History page of the Options dialog box; how to select the appropriate history options and lastly how we can use the History properties to customize the VI history programmatically.
