It’s strange I’d never heard the transcendental etude until about a month ago but the became one of my favourite Liszt pieces instantly

Ironically this has always been one of my favorite Liszt pieces. He finally laid the nuclear fingers aside for a moment and played something soft and delicate. Traum nailed it.

It is very simple, but not easy at all. The correct voicing of the melody is very hard to obtain and you played it so well and with do emotions. I'm sure you can play this way also no 12 (chasse neige) that's my favourite of the set and is so lyrical as this etude. Keep up this magnificent work Traum!

Such a beautiful etude. It's called paysage (landscape) for a reason. It feels as if you are watching a sunset and at the end where it slows down with the left hand on the bottom registres, the sun finally vanishes
