Just enjoy the way he plays. His face is telling me that he enjoys it . That put a smile on mine too.

Look at his legs. He’s hitting the pedals at light speed, too! 😭

I see it that many people let the showman effect overshadow that this man can really play. And it's not like he's doing everything wrongly. He has an unbelievable range of control and sensitivity on the keys and he does all this while having fun because he genuinely is having fun because he's just that damn good. This is also why he's so good at selling the instrument and makes it look like he's showing off when he's just vibing to the music. Deservedly too. Who wouldn't vibe to music played by tue gods themselves

I'm not necessarily a fan of Lang Langs la campanella, but I do think the interpretation is really interesting. From the two speed jump in the long bar of repeated note, to the different cadence of the repeated octaves in the build up to the coda, it's a very fresh take and one no other pianist really does.

A lot of Liszt pieces were deemed unplayable, a lot never made it into common concert repertoire

Liszt stopped performing in concert three years before La Campanella was published so it’s unlikely he played this to his adoring fans across Europe at the height of his ‘rock star’ game.

That way lang lang bangs out the coda like fireworks from ancient china is absolutely insane.

Personally, I think this is one of the best interpretations of La Campanella. This is exactly how I think Liszt would play it. Liszt was crazy about music and this super fast tempo is totally fitting. A few mistakes here and there don't matter, Lang Lang plays passionately and is very skilled.

I dont understand why people attacking him because of just one stage perform, when you play piano controling emotions is so hard maybe that day he lost his focus at the end of the piece, you cant know that, people got 0 empathy and knowledge, they just criticise everything like they are master of everything, I’m sure %90 of these bullsh*t comments cannot even play first page of this piece

I really like how this man plays the piano, with so many impetu. He feels the unbelievable greatness of the melody and the meaning of it. Congrats to this man.

You can tell he genuinely loves to play the Piano, the way his head bops to the beat and the smile on his face, its amazing seeing people actually enjoy playing an instrument instead of playing it because you have to. When you dont enjoy it its a real buzz kill listening to those types of players play.

💥 His fingers are often faster than what piano could respond. It should always be one of the best pianos. 🎉❤

It's really out of this world! I seem to hear this piece for the first time, as it sounds really different, wth a different vibration and personality. Indeed it's from the unique lang Lang!

I like the way Lang Lang reminds us that the piano is a percussive instrument. I think that may be the reason he is not everyone's favoured choice - we are too used to a surfeit of romanticism, in interpretation as well as over exposure on the concert platform.

Magic, a reminder of the magic of the life drawing of evolution, of the intellect, awareness of time, observations, choice, barrier, emotions, feelings, elevation of matter, resulting To this beautiful piano, has the writing of music, and what music, and the manifestation of this magic by the virtuosity of Lang Lang🎉
