I love how logical you are! Not many people think that way!

I feel like Kallie really gets me. She, too, says “fridgerator” instead of “fridge” or “refrigerator”. 😊

So glad I stopped to watch this. I love roll out bins too. We put one in my daughters apartment in a super narrow cabinet for water bottles and it was perfect! I also started moving some socks to the lower level near shoes. I'm tired of too many stairs. Thanks for some more great ideas!

Following the "keep it where you use it" theme - I have bandages and antiseptic for wounds in the kitchen as well as the bathroom First Aid cupboard. This is because I sometimes accidentally cut myself when chopping vegetables. The kitchen is also where accidental burns are most likely to happen, at least in my house. Love your channel, Kallie!

I've always used this form of organization: putting things in a place where they will be used, that is, so that they are as accessible as possible. When there are things that I use in several rooms in my house, I buy them in duplicate, or triplicate, to have them in several rooms. I hate being in the kitchen, for example, needing scissors and having to go to the office to get them, especially because halfway through I end up forgetting what I was going to do hahaha. For example, scissors, I have one in the kitchen, one in the bathroom, one in my office and one in my bedroom. Glue tape, I have it in the kitchen and in my office. I have pens or markers and paper in every room to quickly take notes or reminders wherever I am. Everything I need to take with me before leaving home is near the front door. And so on...

Keeping trash bags where they are used is a game-changer for me! Yes, centralizing trash bags in the pantry seems logical, but when I store trash bags in a cabinet/drawer near the actual 8 trash cans in my house, boom! no more unbagged messes!

I have been putting my kids day clothes in our living room instead of their rooms since they were born. It's so much easier to change them when they spill their food or have a potty accident. Definitely something to do when you have really young kids

I adopted the “store it where you use it” last year and I love it. Seems so obvious now 🤣
Ex.: I have an extensive vase collection, and usually buy flowers once a week, so the vases are in a corner cupboard right next to my kitchen sink

Idk about that egg holder thingy. I see an egg rolling down with a weak shell and then having egg all over my fridge. Let us know how the egg thing works out after a few months, I’m curious 😉. Thanks for another great video 😊

Thank you for including ways to keep kids' stuff organized. I have a 6 and 2 year old. Things are so different from when my other kids were little. I feel like keeping things under control is harder now.

Awesome tips! You could repurpose the used acrylic bookshelves for spices!

I'm a firm believer in that you have to do what works for your home & family, but that you also have to give yourself the chance to try - and if a system fails, it's not for you, and that's okay! Doesn't mean you're a failure.

Side note: I recently bought that MALK (Plant "milk") and I love it so much! I've been a plant milk drinker for 20+ years and while this MALK is pricey, it's by far the best I've ever had.

Kallie, I used a solution I found online that got rid of all of the fruit flies I brought home w/ me. Apple cider vinegar w/ a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Cover w/ plastic wrap, poke some holes w/ a toothpick & change it daily. I got rid of all of the many fruit files I brought home once n a few days. Good luck.

I keep my kids' underwear, socks and jammies in the bathroom cupboard! We live in a two-story home, and my kids always get ready for bed in the bathroom on the main level because they're showering, brushing their teeth, etc. We also keep a lot of our clothes in our main level laundry room so the youngest kids can change right in the laundry room, and I'm not hunting down dirty clothes!

I've adopted your sock idea and it's been great for helping us get ready in the mornings. Thanks for sharing! I have a basket w/ a handle hanging on a hook in each of my kids' rooms where they put their clothes for the next day (they like to pick their clothes out themselves) and we carry it downstairs in the mornings. It saves time and stress in the mornings but I can store their clothes in their rooms.
