Charlotte shooting: 4 law officers killed while serving warrant

Four police officers were killed and four others injured in a shootout while executing a warrant on a felon for firearm possession in a North Carolina home on Monday, according to police.

Very sad. If this wasn't a hostage situation I dont understand why the police think its the best idea to try and apprehend a known armed fellon at a residence. Very poor decision on their part imo.Unfortunately its only going to get worse. Criminals dont obey laws thats why for many reasons our 2nd Amendment is so important. Thoughts and prayers.
