Working with Elder Abuse Clients How a Family Justice Center Can Help

This workshop about elder abuse will present fundamentals of definition and causation, including domestic violence in later life, from the viewpoint of multidisciplinary team intervention and victim services. Applying the concept of co-located family justice services, we will explore the various presentations of elder abuse in communities, including the roles for investigative agencies and service providers. We will also explore the complexities of confidentiality that advocates face when working with older abused clients.
