I definitely need to learn how to stop bc I just kissed the ground and injured myself, but it looks so easy when you do it I'm frustrated. Without you I wouldn't be on my wheels now keep going ;)

This was one of the first inline skating vids that I watched when I first started skating a few years ago and it's crazy how grew from 500 subscribers.

Always show this to people (and a few of your other videos) when I want to show people how cool inline skating could be.

I WANT TO THANK YOU ONE MORE TIME..ITS A GREAT TUTORIAL..JUST ONE IMPORTANT THING ON POWER SLIDE WHICH IS ALL THE MONEY...IM A NOVICE..I CAN BARELY HOLD BALANCE....BUT TURNING THE BODY FIRST BEFORE THE LEGS IN THE DIERECTION YOU WILL DO THE STOP...IS PROBABLY HALF OR MORE PERCENT OF THE MOVEMENT..IT HELPS AMAZINGLY MUCH TO MAKE THE TURN ON THE DOMINANT LEG POSSIBLE AND SO TIGHT....!!!DONT KNOW IF IT SPART OF THE MOHAWK MOVE....BUT I THINK ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO HELP YOUR LEGS DO THE MANOUVRE..!ONE MORE TIME THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT TUTORIAL...!!!

U rock! thanks for the tutorial. Got my first skates a month ago and I still struggle when stopping. Gonna practice these techniques. Greetings from Argentina!

I actually T-stop better by sliding my dominant leg. I guess it has more to do with what you got used to first. Very good production btw :)

I'm glad you released another video! Thank you for the tutorial. This was very informative and easy to follow. I never thought about a reverse t-stop! Going to give that a go.

Keep up the videos, they are great.

Love this! I'm just starting out and your description of percentages in weight on dominant legs really helps! Do you have any advice for beginners? :)

Merci beaucoup mec c'est hyper utile, en plus ton powerslide est bien détaillé, ce qui le rend plus facile à apprendre 👌 (d'ailleurs le T a l'envers je connaissait pas)

Super great video!! Extra cred to you for including the heel brake, it can be useful for beginners although I know it's not your favorite ;)

That twisting stop you do at 0:10 looks amazing btw!

My question for the Q&A: I notice in your videos that you keep the top strap pretty loose (looking at 2:41 for example, great shot :) ), is this so that you can get a larger range of motion with your leg? I thought that would result in a loose fit but maybe the toe strap and 45 degree strap is enough to keep it tight?

the pivot turn stop is my fav cos it looks so stylish! i need to learn that one desperately! i think this will help me for the slide stops cos i usually use a slow down to turn method stop since forever... its good to expand my skillset! great tutorial tiago! 👍

Hi, I'm living in France for 5 years already (university... actually engineering school), but I come from Republic of Moldova. Believe me, you have a very good accent for a French. The average (in terms of level of English) French people have a very strong accent. I can be difficult to understand usually if you are not really used. That may be also because I live in Lyon (I find that in Cote d'Azur they have a better English accent :D)

Anyway, just began skating and trying to see tips and exercices to practice. Subscribed.
