Remote Start, Do you have it? Do you know? How can you tell if it's on your vehicle?

There are people who have a vehicle equipped with remote start and never know. here is how it works and how you can check on most vehicles.

I found out by accident that my 2019 rav4 has one. Made my day! I can't figure out how to turn it off though. 3 presses of the remote didn't do it, neither did the unlock/lock combo.

I bought 2020 Lexus in May 2023 and asked that a remote starter be added. They tried to get me to get the starter app for my phone and I said no. I didn’t want another paid subscription.
I used the starter for the first time yesterday because it was so cold, but it didn’t start the car, it set off the alarm. I found your video today and my key FOB started it as you explained. So I spent over $700 for an additional fob starter that I apparently didn’t need 😡

How about on the Kia? I'm curious if it may have got installed after the fact. I bought a used Kia and there was paperwork inside of it that indicated it had remote start but they only gave me one key fob with the car which I would think they should have gave me two. Maybe the other one had that feature on it? I don't know. Trying to figure out how I would find out if the old owner installed the remote start

I have a 2017 Chevy Impala LT the key fob shows that Arrow but it does not start and it's a brand new key fob how can I tell if I actually have automatic car start where is it located in the motor that I could just see if I have one but the key fob does have it but it won't start it will beep no check engine lights are on if you can please get back to me I appreciate it
