Actor Jagathy Sreekumar Back to Cinema! Joins CBI 5 sets

Fifth instalment of megastar Mammooty’s popular CBI series ‘CBI 5’is all set to hit the screen. Megastar has created a brand character ‘Sethurama Iyer’ through the successful 4 parts of CBI series. The movie CBI 5 will mark the comeback of veteran film maker K Madhu.
To a surprise to Malayalam film enthusiasts, Veteran actor Jagathy Sreekumar will be seen in CBI 5. Mr Sreekumar has been away from showbiz after encountering an accident in 2012. Last year, the legend artist appeared in an advertisement. The fifth instalment of the series will mark his re-entry into movies.
The makers are now filming the Sreekumar’s portions at his residence in Kerala’s capital city considering his health issues. Jagathy Sreekumar had appeared in all the past instalments of the CBI series as DYSP Vikram.
Apart from Jagathy Sreekumar and Mammootty, the film will also have stars Mukesh Renji Panicker, Soubin Shahir, Asha Sharath, and Sai Kumar in pivotal roles.
