TRN BT20 Super Review - True WIRELESS IEMs

There are a handful of Bluetooth cable replacements available for IEMs, but the TRN BT20 is the first I've seen that mimics the experience of true wireless earbuds. So it's got no wires, but is it otherwise as functional as other TWS? Let's find out.

I think it's a positive If they don't have a dedicated charging case.

1. You can use any IEM. The case would have to be larger if they made a "universal" space for the IEM
2. Someone already mentioned charging with a powerbank. There must be people who've lost their airpods case and now have $180 little pieces of crap.
3. Making a case means adding magnetic contacts, etc. extra software... These things wouldn't cost the $40ish they do.

There's a new model, I think. BT20S Aptx/AAC Apt-x Bluetooth 5.0. Which is double the price I think. I'd prob just get the BT3 with APT-X.

A solid 3.8/5 on the spin. Good momentum, surgical stop, but widely off the centre of the target and sloppy technique. For a 5, that shit better be coming in spinning like an air-boosted fidget spinner.

I have two pairs of those, both have the same dealbreaking issues for me :
- Latency is terrible. Unsuited for gaming. I feel about 1 seconds delay.
- The device goes in some kind of sleep mode after 1-1, 5 second without playing a sound. Then it misses the beginning of the next sound played, a syllab in case of a word. Terrible for audiobooks, podcast, Youtube videos or pretty much any content that doesn't play continuous sounds.
This is made even worse by the audible blank noise at low volume, which stops and resumes when the device desactivates/reactivates playing a sound, dragging attention to the said blank noise.

As I am not much of a music listener, I end up never using those.

Hello, I have exactly this bluetooth module model, however my drivers are a TRN V80, but on one side, the noise is huge, does anyone know how I could reduce or eliminate this noise? The funny thing is that they work perfectly when connected using the normal cable, but when I connect them to the blluetooth module, it becomes unbearable to listen to, it's not a simple noise, it's a noise that takes over the entire spectrum, causing the sound to become completely muddled.

I have owned two separate pairs of these things and both of them have major connectivity issues with no product support to speak of. Crazy that I struck out twice in a row but you got a good pair first try. Makes me wonder if I just don't know how to use the things. Also curious if the FiiO UTWS1's are just a re-skin of the bt20s bc they look identical

Mine went cranky after 8 months, when you aren't playing anything it continuously disconnect and reconnects.
