I remember how when I first played on computer on Java after playing on mobile the whole time since 2015, I was trying to make about 24 boats and made 24 shovels for it. I now have 24 wooden shovels

as someone who has played bedrock, I've found out that bedrock is a mix of old MC and new MC. Bedrock also mainly focuses on detail rather than function, as many blocks, items, mobs, etc. have simpler AI and mechanics than in Java, the wither and ender dragon are harder to fight as well. Although, some things are a lot more tedious to do in bedrock than in java, like iron golem farms. Some things are easier, like combat. Weapons don't have cool-down, bows are easier to use (imo), and much more. Overall, neither beats the other in the end, it's just all based on opinion and experiences.

I play bedrock but I respect both versions. Java for it's modding and servers, and bedrock for it's cross platform play

By the way, you can dye leather armour in cauldrons that have dyed water, so obviously in bedrock

I feel like i want to say Bedrock is more realistic, because it kind of is? And definitely harder than Java, but it does have un-logic things like how common tridents are in Bedrock vs Java where you need to kill thousands of drowned mobs just for a 6 durability one

haven't played minecraft in awhile, and recently tried out bedrock. I KNEW that the boat didn't need a shovel for a paddle!
