One Month Spanish Progress So Far (In Spanish)

This is my first video recorded completely in Spanish! Lots of mistakes were made, but it had to happen. 😬Use the CC button to toggle between English & Spanish subtitles.

I show as honestly as possible what 1 month of Spanish speaking progress looks like. Keep in mind, when I started my very first recording in late April, I had done NO formal conversation practice, so speaking-wise I was kind of starting from ground zero.

This is an honest depiction of how much you could improve just by conversing weekly in your target language + just another 15-30 minutes of daily study outside of that.

I use italki to converse with native speakers. Below are links to the tutors I spoke with in this video and would highly recommend!

Wow! This video amazed me, especially your recording on May 22. I'm glad to see that it's possible to make such a huge progress in such a short time. I hope you'll upload similar videos in the future. :)

Thanks for the subtitles. :)

If you repeat a phrase a lot of time, you can just not undurstand the words, but too all the sentence and remember it. I cannot speak spanish, but i can undurstand you so well. Good job. Hope more contents like this.

Your video was very inspiring! Spanish was my first language and you did very well. I stumbled upon your video while researching the Genki text (wanted to study before I enrolled myself in a course that uses that text)

Well done!! :)

Just two little things: Be careful with the pronunciation of the preposition "en". Every time you say that word it sounds like you're saying "in". For example at 8:32.

Also, pay attention to your pronunciation of the Spanish "L". For example, when you said "hablar", it sounded more like "habrar".

Apart from that, your Spanish is pretty good! :)
