Here are some tips If you want to try it for yourself

A-60: he is identical to rush but without the lights flickering and is faster (I think). you need to listen for him in order to know if he is coming. He can only spawn if the room you just entered has a locker or hiding space in it. If the room doesn’t have a Locker in it, you don’t need to worry about him spawning.

A-90: he might be the most difficult. Make sure you aren’t going in “auto pilot”. Stay focused and expect him to show up at any time. If you are on keyboard and mouse I recommend just holding one finger on w and have good reaction time. He shows up for about 1 and a half seconds before he attacks if you aren’t standing still. He can show up randomly but he tends to show up more often when you are currently being attacked by a-60 or a-120. If it has been a while since his last attack, expect him to show up soon.

A-120: he is the easiest to handle. He will make a very obvious and loud banging sound if he is attacking. Run back to the room you were just in before you opened the door and hide. He cannot show up if the room you just left DOESN’T have a locker. If you walk into a room without a locker you don’t need to worry about him showing up when you open the next door. He sometimes can rebound like ambush, so stay in a locker until you completely can no longer hear him

Know that depending on how many times you get attacked, the rooms can take a long time. It took me about 2 and a half hours to beat it. Keep going and don’t give up

Here are some extra tips: Crucifixes do not work, and candles won’t go out to warn you about the enemy’s arrival. If you can, I recommend bringing in a normal flashlight. Batteries are very common and this will spare you from using the green flashlight that requires you to shake it and make you go mentally insane after 10 mins. Hide isn’t in the rooms, so you can hide for as long as you want. I REALLY recommend doing this alone, or with a max of 2 players. Some rooms only have 2 or 1 lockers in it, so hiding will be a big issue. Footsteps from your friends can also make you think an enemy is coming when it actually isn’t.

It must be an absolute relief to get back in the hotel after A-1000, that stupid door creak. Well done

I got to A-1000 today and I felt like I had accomplished something monumental. I started with 4 people including myself and then I explained what A-120 did to another guy and I went through and I chatted with another person until he left and told me, “Good Luck” and then I went through all of the rooms. Thanks.

Some tips for people who want to make the full journey:

1. The full trip from A-0000 to A-1000 takes about 2 hours, so be prepared to sit at your desk and stare at your monitor for a while.

1a. There is an exit from the Rooms at A-0200 to A-0300 however, and that only takes around 30 minutes to get to from A-0000.

2. Please please please buy a regular flashlight before entering. Batteries are super common in the Rooms, and using a regular flashlight is way better than having to refill the gummy flashlight every 5 seconds.

3. I highly recommend doing this alone. Even with a buddy it's difficult. If you have more than 2 players, there may not be enough hiding spaces for everybody if a monster comes, as most rooms only have 2 lockers.

4. There is no Hide in the Rooms, so you can stay in a locker and AFK for as long as you want, and if you are AFK, you won't have to worry about A-90 either.

5. Crucifixes do not work in the Rooms and your candle will not blow out to warn you that a monster is coming. That being said, I'd recommend you turn up your headphones to at least 50% volume.

6. For the first 100 rooms, I would not recommend using the flashlight to save power, as there is still ambient light. After A-0100. Every door you progress it slowly gets darker. After A-0200, there is complete darkness and impossible to see without a flashlight.

7. Please do not have any distractions. Do not have a YouTube video on in the background, as it can distract you from A-90 and the noises of A-60 and A-120

MONSTER GUIDE:

A-60: Acts a lot like Rush. If you hear a loud, distorted wave sound approaching, hide in a locker until he goes away. A-60 cannot spawn if the room you just went into doesn't have a hiding space.

A-90: Hardest monster to deal with, so have some practice. He will appear at a random point on your screen. If you see him, take your hands off of the keyboard and mouse, do not move, and wait until he is gone. When I say take your hands off of the keyboard and mouse, I mean it. Even the slightest mouse movement will count as moving and will cause him to attack (1:07:34 is a good example). If he attacks you, he will deal 80% damage, which means you can only afford to be attacked once. I highly recommend not using any auto-pilot exploits for Doors when doing the Rooms because of him. If you haven't encountered him in a while, be prepared for him to show up. Another thing is A-90 doesn't care what is happening, he can spawn even when A-60 or A-120 is attacking you.

A-120: A lot like A-60. He will make loud banging sounds when he is coming to attack. Go back to the previous room and hide in a locker. If the room you are about to leave does not have a locker, he cannot spawn. Be warned, he can rebound for a second attack, so stay in the locker until he is gone and you cannot hear his noise anymore.

The fact that there’s 1000 doors in The Rooms and just 100 in the other parts of the game map is mind-blowing.

simonsv

Just a tiny tip: LSPASH made it so if you’re storing an Item in the Rift and you have a duplicate Item in your Inventory, the Items will just drop on the floor instead of not allowing you to store the new item. I’m pretty sure they did this after a lot of people started posting videos because they had the Scanner but couldn’t put it in the rift because they already had a Candle or Gummy Flashlight stored.

Some tips:
- Make sure you have nothing stored in the rift before you go, I have seen several people make the same mistake that is made here.
- Make sure you have a normal flashlight before you go, I would skip buying the gummy flashlight altogether but if you want a backup you can buy it.
- You can hide in a locker and take breaks throughout the rooms (just don't be gone longer than 20 minutes!), A-90 will attack at random but as long as you don't move (which you probably won't if you are afk) you'll be fine.
- Buy the crucifix before you go as backup once you get back to the hotel. It doesn't work in the rooms but could save you from a surprise rush or ambush attack on the last 20 doors in the hotel.
- Getting to door 200, where the first exit is, will take about 20-30 minutes depending on your play style. Doing a full run will take around 2 hours so anticipate this before you try.
- In my experience, A-90 rarely attacks alone, and most likely will pair with A-60 and sometimes A-120.
- Turn your volume up, I know the jumpscares will be loud but this will help you to hear the entities sooner and avoid those.
- Lastly, play alone. The rooms are hard to play with more than 2 players, and even with only two players it is difficult.

Good Luck!

I beat doors a lot of times so maybe I could give you tips on how to beat the game

Entities:
Rush: The lights will flicker when it’s near. When it does, hide in a closet or a bed to avoid him. There are some fake flickers though.

Eyes: Don’t look at it. It will take 10% of your health if you look at it.

Screech: It only appears in dark rooms. If you hear a “psst” quickly look around and stare at it. It will deal 40% of your health.

Ambush: Same as Rush, but runs past twice. He’ll do it again for 1-6 times until he goes away. If you hear him coming back, you need to hide in a closet and hop back in again to avoid Hide.

Dupe: Will spawn a fake door in a room with 2 or more doors. If you go in the fake door, he will take 40% of your health. The door number will be erased so you really have to remember what door number you are on.

Hide: If you stay in a hiding spot for too long, he will kick you out and deal 40% of your damage.

Jack: He’s mostly harmless. He’ll jumpscare you in a closet or when you enter a room but doesn’t deal any damage. There is a 1/20 to appear in a closet and 1/2000 chance to spawn in a room. If he spawns in a room, the room will turn red with black spots. After a few seconds, the room will turn normal again.

Seek: If you start seeing eyes, he is coming. If you see a long hallway with no eyes, he will appear. After you reach almost the end of the hallway, he will appear through the floor.

Figure: He’s blind but he has really good hearing. Don’t come too close because he can sense your heartbeat. If he is coming for you, hide in a closet. You’ll have to do a mini-game in the closet. You have to control your heartbeat. Left click and Right click or Q and E to control your heartbeat. On mobile, just tap the screen.

Halt: If the lights will flicker a lot of times, he is going to appear in the next room. Turn around and keep running when the screen flashes. When the screen flashes, it’ll say “TURN AROUND” so you actually have to turn around. Do this multiple times until you reach the door.

Glitch: He’ll jumpscare you if a room doesn’t load properly.
Timothy: He’s mostly harmless. He will spawn in drawers and will jumpscare you and deal 5% of your health.

Void: Replaced Glitch. If you stay behind your friends, it will teleport you back to your friends.

Window: You can see him in the lobby at the leaderboards. He has a very rare chance of spawning in a run after Seek’s chase.

Shadow: Has a very rare chance of spawning in a room. Will jumpscare you and you will see them for 1 second.

Snare: Will spawn on the floor in The Greenhouse. If you step on it, it will take 10% of your health.

Jeff: One of the 4 friendly entities in the game. Can sell stuff for you in his shop.

El Goblino: One of the 4 friendly entities in the game Hangs out in Jeff’s shop.

Bob: One of the 4 friendly entities in the game. Just a random skeleton hanging out in Jeff’s shop.

Guiding Light: One of the 4 friendly entities in the game. Also the only helping entity in the game. If you die to an entity, they will give to tips how to avoid them. They also give the blue light in Seek’s chase when you’re supposed to go there. They also give a shiny sound when a key or a book is near in the library or a breaker part in the end.

Rooms: Has 1000 rooms, but the exit can appear anywhere around A-200. You can choose if you want to continue or leave. It has 3 monsters. A-60, A-90 and A-120. Rooms will start getting darker and darker as you move on.

Rooms Entities:
A-60: Acts like Rush, but no hints. Which means you can only rely on sound. If it plays a distorted sound, hide in a locker.

A-90: Acts like Eyes, but you have to stand still instead of looking away. If it appears on your screen, do not move. Moving your screen counts as moving.

A-120: Acts like Rush, but sometimes can come back like Ambush. If it plays a drumming sound, hide in a locker.

Curious Light: Same mechanic as Guiding Light.

Items:
Lighter: Will help you see in dark rooms.

Candle: Can find them on desks. Will light up blue if a monster is coming, or if you’re going the right way.

Vitamins: Provides health and speed boost.

Lock-picks: You can use them to open a lock, or open a secret chest. They will break after you use it.

Flashlight: Will help you see in dark rooms. It’s better than a lighter.

Batteries: Can recharge your flashlight.

Bandage: Can be found in drawers. It will heal you.

Keys: Find them to unlock locked doors.

Books: Find them for the code to escape the library.

Breaker parts: Find them for the Elevator Power to escape.

Crucifix: Will stop monsters from killing you except Seek and Figure. It will only you stun Seek and Figure for a few seconds and back to normal again.

Skeleton key: Can be used in the Infirmary room, or in the secret rooms passageway.

Herb of Viridis: If you hold it, it can heal you for the rest of the game.

Gummy Flashlight: Can be bought in rooms for 10 coins. You have to click it for it to recharge.

Coins, Gold, Diamonds: Will give you more coins. They will spawn in drawers. If you get Gold or Diamonds, you get more coins. Coins will give you more knobs or can buy stuff in Jeff’s shop.

Places:
Lobby: Enter an elevator to start a run.

Room 1: Find a key and unlock the door.

Locked rooms: Find a key and unlock the door.

Dark rooms: Use a light source to see. Screech will also spawn in dark rooms.

Seek’s chase: The blue lights will help you go to the correct path. Look both ways before you progress. Don’t touch the hands and the fire. The fire will deal damage. The hands will kill you.

Library: Find books to escape. Grab the paper on the table to figure out the code. Example: The paper says “Star = IV” and the book says “Star = 3” That means the fourth digit of the code is 3. IV in Roman Numerals is 4.

Jeff’s shop: Shop that you can buy stuff with coins.

Courtyard: A resting area in the game after you’ve gone through a lot. Will spawn in doors 70-99.

The Greenhouse: Will always be dark because there are no lights so make sure have have a light source with you. That means there are no lights to flicker if Rush is coming. Therefore you can only rely on sound. Will spawn in doors 90-99.

Room 100: Run back or hide in a closet. You will have to do a heartbeat mini-game when Figure comes up to your closet. Press R for left and Q for right. After you’re done, wait for Figure to leave and get out. Find breaker parts for the Elevator Power. After you found all, find the key and go unlock the door and go to the Elevator Power. Put all of the breaker parts in the Elevator Power. Now time to do the Elevator Power mini-game. If it says “6” and the square is lit up, turn on number 6. If it says “4” and the square is hollow or not lit up, don’t turn on number 4. You’ll do this 3 times. After the last one, there will be a “??” and you have to guess which number is it. After you’re done, go to the elevator and escape.

Here are some tips just in case:

A-60: He works just like rush but there is no flickering lights, so if you hear a disorted backrooms sound then you need to hide in a locker (not a closet cuz it aint the hotel). If you hear his sounds again when there are no lockers, then you dont have to worry because he will only make that sound for 1-2 secs.

A-90: He is the most annoying, but he forces you to stop speedrunning, he is a head shaped enitity, and he will spawn trough 1-2 seconds before he attacks, and he mostly attacks when a-60 or a-120 are attacking, but if he attacks with those entities then dont worry because he will stop them for 2 secs, so dont panic when he appears in those entities

A-120: He will make a loud banging sound which will make it obvious that he is coming. However he will MOSTLY spawn in a room where there is no lockers, but sometimes there are lockers, so if there are no lockers, then you’ll have to go back to the room before the room you entered, if there are lockers then go to that room and hide in the locker. Also he will rebound just like ambush so just wait 7-10 seconds until his sound is completely done.

Items:

Flashlight: This might be the most useful because you can hear if the monsters are coming but it could also be infinite since you can always find batteries in a room.

Shakelight: This is also useful, it is infinite too just by shaking the light, however whenever you shake it you might not hear the monsters properly and you almost have to shake it all the time, because the cooldown is very poor because within 3-5 secs it will be gone (not from your inv)

Lighter: Yes it works, but the light range kinda sucks in the rooms because even if you light up then you wouldnt see where the lockers are and plus the cooldown is medium so if you waste it, would you find another lighter?

Candle: This candle wouldnt work in the rooms because a message would pop up saying “Your candle feels lighter than normal” meaning the candle will *not* make any light so yeah don’t bring a candle.

Crucifix: this will not work on the entities. Why? Because the crucifix is powered by guiding light (correct me if im wrong) and guiding light is not in the rooms so if you have a crucifix then before you enter the rooms use it on annoying screech while trying to find that annoying lever.

Vitamins: This is useful, not only for speedrunning, but for a120, here is why, because if you went foward too much when there werent lockers you can use those bad boys to go back to the room before.

Lockpicks: all i have to say is, these things are useless

Skull key: … why do you need this… i mean to enter the rooms its the main thing, but INSIDE the rooms, why?

Rooms:

You REALLY need to memorize the rooms lockers because later when its dark then you will not know where the lockers are.

Please, my hands hurt…

how. HOW. he got through A-1000 and door 100, can anything truly even stop this man at this point? most of the time when i see good youtubers, i need to watch 2 or 3 videos to consider liking and subbing to them, but this man withstood 2 hours of doing this misery, and prob so much more off camera. if you are reading this zaf, you are a legend. truly, truly the best the world has ever seen.

Edit: ok so how has this dude got only 200 subscribers he deserves way more than this, and i'm saying this for just this video, he has a full channel of other videos i havent even seen yet
