I think I would just use the bottom crust, cut it in squares, fill and pinch. Adding minced garlic to the butter we would be tasty.

Tried this its good. So i came up with another alternative: ricotta cheese, spinach either alfredo sauce or garlic Parmesan sauce and add some mozzarella. Follow the same process and its delicious. I even add some leftover shredded chicken. 😊

Wonderful! Such a great presentation. Such a clear voice and not so fast I miss out - my Irish Gran said I had slow "earing" developed as a child😊
I used lightly and gently sauteed sliced small yellow squash, diced red onion, slivered carrot, and added unheated baby kale or mesclun mix torn bite size, jarred fire-roasted red peppers and gruyere, feta or provolone cheese with prepared pie crust.
A Variety of goodness. Also did a steak, onion and mushroom dumpling - using the pizza dough.
You know, they remind me of apple dumplings. I should have chopped apples and added the red hots and made vanilla custard to pour over! Well, I will be making these again. Getting my Grandaughter a portable pizza oven for college and your recipe is top of list!
Also used 3.5 inch jumbo cupcake pans. The adults were piggies and loved the recipe. Made your recipe exactly and ran out of your exact recipe - the kiddies called them gourmet and I'm pretty sure they got a lot of help from the big kids! I also used kielbasa sausage in some. Thank you for your recipe and all the great ideas it birthed! I baked them in my pizza oven and it was perfect. Golden brown, perfectly done and cool kitchen. Used dixie bowls and clean-up had more volunteers than ever before. Thank you.
